We Are Launching Women!
We are launching women! The time has finally arrived for all of us to focus on getting women back into the workforce and into higher level positions. 2020 was a challenging year for many and women in the workforce were the hardest hit overall. We have all read the statistics on how many women left the workforce to care for their families, were part of RIFs, or, worse yet, because they decided to step out for other reasons.
I have spent the last 15 years thinking about the best way I can support other women and improve the status of women in the workforce. When the pandemic hit and I witnessed firsthand the impact on women, I knew that I must be part of the solution.
My desire is to make an impact. My goal is to get 1,000 women back to work in 2021. I want even more leaders to stand with me. I want more companies to prioritize this. The time has come for us to achieve gender and pay parity. And let’s not ignore the racial inequities. Women of color are a very important part of our goal. I am eager to close gaps and advance equality! We have an economic, moral, and societal imperative to focus on women.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll interview executives about how to move the needle in a big way. I’ll share what I’m learning and, who knows, maybe we will implement great solutions right away!
